Main Responsibilities:

Lead comprehensive feasibility study and conceptual option leading to the optimum project development for Subsea Engineering
Lead optimum design analysis and quality evaluation of detailed design leading to the completion of detailed drawings, manuals, design report and specification
Acquisition and application of new technology for effective cost optimization that suit the project and operational requirement by analyzing and preparing recommendation to ensure proven technology is used whenever possible and to select appropriate development solutions if proven technology is not available
Develop and prepare study, standards, specifications, guidelines and relative drawings as required for project and PSCBs Subsea Section (Xmas Tree, Wellhead, Tubing Hanger, etc.)
Excellence in managing the Interface issues with Reservoir, Drilling, Production Technologies, Well Completion Engineering, Instrument/Control, Materials/Corrosion, Installation, Pipeline and Structural Engineering
Plan and execute the testing (FAT, EFAT, SIT, etc) for respective equipments.
Provide and assist Engineering Support to the Project Execution Team
Identify Reservoir Characteristics and Requirement of the Data Acquisition needed
Identify and select the suitable design of Xmas Trees, Manifold, Mechanical Connector and all Subsea main equipments
Determine types, selection criteria, best practices & design procedures for Subsea Facilities for shallow, deepwater and Subsea such as (but not limited to):
- Best Practices, Design Consideration and Design Procedures for Manifold Piping, Controls, Instrumentation, Chemical Distribution, Structural and Foundation
- Snagging Load Philosophy & Overtrawlability Protection Design Considerations
Train and develop skill capability and expertise of Junior Engineers.

Skills required for Senior Subsea Hardware Engineer Requirements :

Degree in Mechanical or related Engineering with 12 years experience in the oil and gas industry including minimum 8 years experience with subsea system or equal and have hands on experience for subsea project management and execution.
Familiar and have deep knowledge about Design and Analysis Engineering Software
Have hand on experience for Subsea project execution from feasibility study phase up to detail engineering phase

Job Description: The Enterprise Software Engineer Level 2 shall: Design, develop, maintain, and improve system software and applications for customer systems. Serve as key developer as part of a software development team that performs collaborative software development tasks with other teams. Assist lower-level software engineers with programming assignments. Research and recommend software tools and processes. Work closely with project managers and other engineering teams in evaluating current systems and recommending decisions on future development. Assist systems engineers with the analysis of user and system requirements and constraints. Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task junior software engineers. Use configuration management tools such as ClearCase for source code control and software release management Perform unit and integration testing of software components Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine and resolve system problems. Develop software technical documentation including system/software requirements, design, code, algorithms, interfaces, and processes Provide technical support to system integration efforts in the lab and during field installations. Travel 1-2 times per year for one week periods each time for technical exchanges and collaboration with external development and engineering teams. Required Skills: The Enterprise Software Engineer Level 2 shall have demonstrable experience (6+ years required) and proficiency in the following areas: Computer/system software design and development for LINUX and/or Windows platforms (9+ years experience preferred) SIGINT software development (5+ years preferred) Designing, coding, testing and debugging software written in C or C++ Designing, coding, testing and debugging software written in JAVA to include working with annotation and generics (7+ years preferred) Work experience using a JEE container (5+ years preferred) Experience in frameworks such as Spring Experience with ESB/SOA such as Apache Service Mix or equivalent enterprise message technologies (minimum 1 year preferred) Analyzing system specifications and translating to software requirements Experience developing technical documentation for software components, must have good oral and written communications skills and should have demonstrated experience documenting software designs and source code Experience in technical program management and/or software development team lead. At least 50% of this experience shall be in programs with particular relevance to SIGINT, communications systems, and/or information technology. The King will no longer be hosting the ‘Larry King live’ which would be like ending a huge chapter in history. But the King is happy with the time he spent and is looking forward to what life has stored next for him.
“I’m incredibly proud that we recently made the ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ for having the longest-running show with the same host in the same time slot,” King wrote on his blog. “With this chapter closing I’m looking forward to the future and what my next chapter will bring, but for now it’s time to hang up my nightly suspenders.”
Larry King had quite an eventful stint with the show on CNN and has conducted nearly 50,000 interviews although his show is mainly dedicated to politicians, newsmakers, activists and victims of heinous crimes over the years he has taken up the liking towards the younger generation of artists and pop stars.
Some of his most memorable interviews of the young pop star brigade have to be Chris Brown, who spoke for the first time after assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna, to the recent Lady Gaga interview where she gave a sneak peek into her ‘Alejandro’ video and of course how can we forget Snoop Dogg’s interview.
Larry with all his colors is surely going to be missed; CNN is surely going to have a tough task in filling those huge shoes left by the King.
