Job Description:
Main Responsibilities:
Lead comprehensive feasibility study and conceptual option leading to the optimum project development for Subsea Engineering
Lead optimum design analysis and quality evaluation of detailed design leading to the completion of detailed drawings, manuals, design report and specification
Acquisition and application of new technology for effective cost optimization that suit the project and operational requirement by analyzing and preparing recommendation to ensure proven technology is used whenever possible and to select appropriate development solutions if proven technology is not available
Develop and prepare study, standards, specifications, guidelines and relative drawings as required for project and PSCBs Subsea Section (Xmas Tree, Wellhead, Tubing Hanger, etc.)
Excellence in managing the Interface issues with Reservoir, Drilling, Production Technologies, Well Completion Engineering, Instrument/Control, Materials/Corrosion, Installation, Pipeline and Structural Engineering
Plan and execute the testing (FAT, EFAT, SIT, etc) for respective equipments.
Provide and assist Engineering Support to the Project Execution Team
Identify Reservoir Characteristics and Requirement of the Data Acquisition needed
Identify and select the suitable design of Xmas Trees, Manifold, Mechanical Connector and all Subsea main equipments
Determine types, selection criteria, best practices & design procedures for Subsea Facilities for shallow, deepwater and Subsea such as (but not limited to):
- Best Practices, Design Consideration and Design Procedures for Manifold Piping, Controls, Instrumentation, Chemical Distribution, Structural and Foundation
- Snagging Load Philosophy & Overtrawlability Protection Design Considerations
Train and develop skill capability and expertise of Junior Engineers.
Skills required for Senior Subsea Hardware Engineer Requirements :
Degree in Mechanical or related Engineering with 12 years experience in the oil and gas industry including minimum 8 years experience with subsea system or equal and have hands on experience for subsea project management and execution.
Familiar and have deep knowledge about Design and Analysis Engineering Software
Have hand on experience for Subsea project execution from feasibility study phase up to detail engineering phase
